100l flat boiler

Flat boiler with a usable capacity of 100 liters (total capacity of approximately 108 liters), designed for maximum functionality and ease of use. With a height of only 41 cm including legs, it is the lowest boiler of this capacity available on the market! This design allows seamless adaptation to spaces with height restrictions and ensures excellent stability for the entire distillation setup.

The unique sloped bottom construction facilitates easy draining of the contents after the distillation process, minimizing liquid losses and residual deposits. Adjustable legs allow for precise leveling on uneven surfaces, further enhancing ease of use. Sturdy, ergonomic handles on the sides make it convenient to move and position the boiler as needed.

Available Configuration Options

Heating Type

The boiler can be configured for different heating methods:

• No heating elements – designed for gas heating using a 56 cm diameter "Jumbo" burner. This is an ideal option for those who prefer traditional heating methods with fast heat-up times.
• Two ~2 kW heating elements (total ~4 kW) – an economical solution providing uniform heating, suitable for most home distillation applications.
• Three ~2 kW heating elements (total ~6 kW) – increased heating power for faster heat-up and better process efficiency.
• Four ~2 kW heating elements (total ~8 kW) – maximum available power, perfect for users who need rapid heating and stable temperatures throughout the distillation process.

The heating elements are designed to handle even thick mash thanks to their low power density of less than 8 W/cm². Unlike standard screw-in elements, which can reach power densities exceeding 32 W/cm² and may cause scorching, our solution ensures safer and more efficient operation.

Each heating option includes a connection cable and a protective plastic cover to safeguard the electrical components and ensure safe operation.

Central Column Connection

The boiler features a central Tri-Clamp connection, allowing for a secure and leak-proof attachment to a distillation column or other accessories. Available options:

• Tri-Clamp 2” – standard connection compatible with most reflux columns and pot stills in our product range.
• Tri-Clamp 3” – designed for Thor 76, providing increased vapor flow capacity.
• Tri-Clamp 4” – intended for plate columns, optimizing efficiency and performance.
• Custom size available upon request – we can tailor the boiler to specific user needs.

Additional Filling Port

The boiler can be equipped with an additional filling port, making it easier to add wash and clean the interior:

• 2” – threaded cap filling port, offering a simple and secure way to pour liquids.
• 4” – Tri-Clamp filling port, allowing faster filling and easier access to the interior.
• Hatch-type filling port (manhole) – the largest available option, providing full access to the boiler interior, especially useful for cleaning and maintenance.

Additional Drain Valve

Emptying the boiler is facilitated by a drain valve, available in two sizes:

• 1” – sufficient for draining thin, clear liquids such as fermented fruit washes and filtered spirits.
• 2” – a larger drain ensuring clog-free emptying, even when handling thick mashes containing fruit pits or other solid residues.

Each option includes a drain valve. Thanks to the sloped bottom, even small amounts of liquid will easily flow toward the drain, eliminating the need to tilt the boiler manually.

Additional Thermometer Port

• None – for users who do not require a built-in thermometer in the boiler.
• 1/2” Thermometer Port – suitable for installing a thermometer to measure liquid temperature, particularly recommended for plate stills, as plate stills have long probe to fit in here.
• LCD electronic thermometer – provides real-time temperature readings with high accuracy, 0,1C resolution.

Insulation

• None – standard boiler without insulation.
• Rubber Insulation – a specialized rubber coating that allows faster heating, reduces heat loss, and eliminates the risk of burns when touching the boiler during operation.

Heating Element Power Regulator

• None – standard configuration without regulation.
• Power regulator for one heating element – enables precise control over heating intensity, allowing for gradual power adjustments according to the distillation process requirements.

Legs

• Adjustable legs – enable perfect leveling on uneven surfaces.
• Wheels – an option for users who require easy mobility and convenient repositioning of the boiler.
