Flavoring/ aromatization add-on

Flavoring/ aromatization add-on for our 54mm pot-still. The aroma add-on  mounted to the flanges for expanding a pot still allows for placing herbs, fruits, or other selected ingredients on top of the deflegmator to obtain aromatic distillate.

Indispensable in gin or absinthe production, as well as fruit vodkas. The addition of juniper berries, coriander seeds, orange peel, and several other botanicals enables easy production of aromatic gin. Basic recipes are included in the instructions, but we also encourage experimentation.

The attachment features a copper mesh at the bottom, providing ample contact surface for aromatic additives with the distillate vapors. To prevent potential blockages caused by softening of fruits, the attachment includes a special system preventing dangerous pressure buildup.

The aromatic attachment can also be used to extract essential oils from herbs (e.g., mint, black cumin), flowers (e.g., rose, linden, lavender), and fruits (e.g., citrus, sea buckthorn).

Included in the set are connecting screws and a gasket. The height of the attachment is approximately 11cm, with a basket capacity of approximately 300ml.

The attachment flanges are compatible with any of our 54mm equipment featuring expansion flanges (pot still, reflux stills from the Basic, Premium, AAbratek, Elite, and Thor Elite series). They are not compatible with plate still, micro pot stills, or the Thor 76mm model. For Thor 76mm, Prime column, and plate still, a dedicated aromatizer designed for their diameter is available here.
